Last night was insane. And I'm not even talking about the clubs. Hell, I didn't even go to any of the clubs. My extent of the partying was heading to Brad and Colleen's room around 11 and hanging out with all of them while pictures were being taken and drinks were being downed. Flash forward to about 2 hours later and we finally started making our way to the MGM Grand. Now where Brad and Colleen are staying you can essentially take one long walkway from their tower to the casino. It's a bit of a hike, but you can get there quicker than if you went outside. However, when some people are drunk, it can take longer. Long story short, around 2:30 I was taking a friend back to his room because he was so wasted. The rest of the group were still trying to get into a club, but because I wasn't dressed for the occasion (Vegas dress codes are lame) I figured might as well try to help out. Well, we got a little under half way back and the dude passed out. Boom. On the floor. Done. I tried asking people if they would mind staying with him while I ran to get some help. Because Vegas is filled with nothing but premadonnas and douchebags, it took a while. Finally a nice group of people did stop. A few runs later I got back with security on their way. When I got back the group of people were taking pictures with my passed out pal. Classy. What do you expect? Haha. Anyway, once a wheelchair finally arrived, we lifted him up on to it, walked the remaining (long) distance, and got him back to his room. A transfer to the was next and, after waiting for a bit, a cab ride back to my hotel room where I passed out.
When I go up today we all headed to the Venitian for breakfast and to scout out where the after wedding dinner will be. Then it was more walking, hanging out, and exploring.
On a side note, my friend has no recollection of what happened to him last night. This will be a fun story to explain. As for tonight goes, I guess we'll have to wait and see.
Monte Carlo trumps Travelodge.
