Well, that's it folks. Tonight was the last time I'm going to see Tori until Christmas. The majority of the day was spent getting together with the family, visiting some relatives I hadn't seen in a LONG time, and putting the finishing touches on the apartment. Finishing touches, in this instance, mean hooking up a new TV and upconvert DVD player. Thanks, Best Buy. By the night's end, Del Taco was eaten, the TV was programmed, wireless internet plugged in, and all in all, I felt good. My parents had done a good job yesterday getting different items from Ikea to fill out the new living quarters. My sister's room was basically all done. Now, when her roommate arrives - sometime in the next couple days - it will really turn into her NEW home.
Tomorrow is my final day in California. I have a few meals planned and will be meeting some more members of this fantastic family who has taken me in the last few days. My time here has been great fun and a welcome break from the routine back in Michigan. Time flies.
