April 18

The day was going smashingly until a couple hours ago. I was on my G5 working and web browsing when all of a sudden...BLACK SCREEN, POWER DOWN, BURNING SMELL!!! The timing of this couldn't be worse. I called up my Uncle and he told me it could be a number of things but if the smell is emitting from the bottom (which it was), it could be the power supply. I plan on heading to the Apple store in Novi either early tomorrow or Monday. I'm hoping for the best. I can't afford to have anything happen to any footage or programs I have on that machine. Especially since I was working on a couple projects when it happened. I'm more pissed than I can even describe.

I just read my friend Shannon's response to a comment I had posted earlier today. I got so caught up in the stuff above I didn't even head out to Owosso for the sosaveme "Farewell Rhett" performance.  I'm more pissed, now, than I previously described. Seriously. I might be able to make it out for a little after-party hangout. We'll see once I get a reply via text.

Just got it. I'll be patiently waiting for any more news.

Anyway, it all started so well. Beautiful day. Cleaned the house in the morning. Amazing NBA playoff game to start "40 Games in 40 Nights" - BULLS WON IN O.T. IN BOSTON! Headed over to Brad's digs. Came back here. In between, I finally got a hold of Meagen and we caught up a bit. Same thing with Mr. Strong. I was feeling good. Then...

I want to end this day on a high note. Hopefully Rhett and the crew will have something going on later tonight.
