March 18 [A]

Since I'm still up, here's a start for today's post.

Semicolons always seem to get a raw deal. I mean, they weren't enough of a colon to be a full on colon; Yet they aren't nothing. In fact, they're really just used to separate two like sentences or if you're listing things. It's the same job a period or a comma could do. That's probably why the semicolon is a period on top of a comma. Still, no one really knows when to properly use a it. I try, but I guarantee it's wrong half of the time I do it. I mean, if I were a semicolon I'd be pretty confused. Am I here to stop a thought and move on to the next, or to add a brief pause before continuing the same thought. Thank God I wasn't born a semicolon.

More to come later,
B
